1940's Weekend '05
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11 September 2005
This weekend was combined with the Lincolnshire Heritage open days and their theme this year was Transport. Supported by the Civic Trust and also Heritage Lincolnshire in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council.
Step back in time with the sites and sounds of sixty years ago. East Coast Command joins us in providing displays and scenarios. Eagle Radio will be on air from the car park, there will be a pre-war fire engine, Police display, a mobile field gun, military clothing stall, etc.
