Donated Signal Post

Snitterby-signal.jpgThis Signal Post was kindly donated by Mr J Robertson who owned a pub at Snitterby. Prior to it's removal to Ludborough it is believed came from Kirton Lime Sidings on the Wrawby to Gainsborough line. It is a tall doll from a plate and angle bracket signal which, if it did come from Kirton Lime sidings, is still there today carrying a colour light head.

It's a bog standard upper quadrant signal which also has an electric lamp. Also, it has a track circuit diamond which will be removed as we will not be installing track circuits! Previously, it was used at the pub as 15' post, and it will most likely be used in it's same role at North Thoresby as the Up Starter.
