LWR 'Disabled Access' Charity Walk

Paul is undertook a walk in order to raise funds that are needed to convert a recently acquired railway carriage so that disabled people have access to our buffet facilities

Starting on 12 November 2005 Paul, accompanied only by his four legged friend Millie, walked from Alford Town Station to Holton Village Halt keeping as far as possible to the old Great Northern Railway track bed. He passed through Authorpe Aby, Legbourne Road, Utterby Halt, Ludborough, North Thoresby, Grainsby Halt, Holton-le-Clay and finally Holton Village Halt. This was a walk of approximately 26 miles and Paul camped out overnight.
