Snow Stopped Trains
Heavy snow fell early morning on the 23 March 2008 as will be seen from the pictures. For the first time we had to cancel trains as some of our volunteers could not reach the station and for the safety of our visitors. Pictures supplied by Jim Tyers, S & T Manager who battled through the snow to get to Ludborough and took these photos on his mobile phone for those of us to see who did not make it. By mid afternoon most of the snow had disappeared and we were able to run the following day.
