Enjoy a journey by steam at The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, purchase your tickets on arrival from the ticket office (Dogs cost £1.00 each to travel onboard), relax in our dog-friendly carriages & enjoy a nostalgic trip back in time with your pet dog by your side.

(Dog-friendly carriages are the open plan style with tables – No dogs allowed in private compartments with sliding doors)

Enjoy some light refreshments after your journey in our Dog Friendly area within our Steaming Kettle Buffet Cafe. 

Then enjoy a stroll down the path which leads to the engine shed giving you some sights of the locos and rolling stock, while your companion enjoys a sniff around. 

We have a large grassy area within the car park & adjacent suitable to stretch your dogs legs and water / treats are provided on our main platform.

We do ask that dogs are well behaved and kept off the seats as you travel along (If they are well behaved, they may just get a little treat !!)

Don’t forget to pick up your souvenirs in our dog-friendly gift shop.
