Give someone special a day they will always remember. Our Footplate Ride and Signal Box Experience make the perfect gift, whatever the occasion.
On the day participants will have a ride in the cab of our steam locomotive on the train from Ludborough to North Thoresby and back (subject to usual running service requirements).
The driver will explain the controls of the engine and you will observe how they operate the loco.
Experience what it was like in the good old days of steam. (A coat will be provided but substantial footwear should be worn.)
The price for our Footplate Ride is only £30, which includes a day ticket to ride on the train and a signed certificate from the driver to remember the occasion.
Participants must be 18 years or over and be physically able.
When you order your experience, it will be received by a member of the bookings team and processed.
Please allow upto 4/5 days for all orders to be processed and posted out.
Once you receive your experience, book your date/time by phoning the railway number with your booking details.
