The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway is offering people the chance to operate its signal box at Ludborough station. They will get to operate the signals, gates and block bells between Ludborough and North Thoresby under supervision of the on duty signalman.
The Signal Box Experience lasts for three hours in the morning or afternoon. The signalman will explain how all the levers work and how we operate the trains. Once they have observed the first train depart, participants will then given the chance to operate the box themselves. The cost is £30, which includes a ticket to ride on the train and a certificate signed by the signalman to remember the experience.
PLEASE NOTE: Participants must be 18 years or over.
When you order your experience, it will be received by a member of the bookings team and processed.
